Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is reportedly placing partial blame for his party’s failure to regain the upper chamber on failed Democratic candidate Cal Cunningham who allegedly “couldn’t keep his zipper up.”
What are the details?
Axios reported Tuesday that Schumer “has made the zipper comment on numerous calls” to donors in blaming Cunningham’s personal drama for his narrow loss in North Carolina to incumbent Sen. Thom Tillis (R), after Cunningham admitted to exchanging sexually charged texts with a woman who is not his wife.
Cunningham, a married father of two, was also hit with allegations of engaging in separate physical affairs with the alleged mistress and another unnamed woman. Prior to the scandal, Cunningham was leading in the polls and expected to win.
Schumer reportedly said he now regrets recruiting Cunningham for the race.
Schumer also pointed to the passing of late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as playing a factor in why Democrats were unable to flip the Senate, speculating that Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) was able to keep hold of her seat by appealing to Democrats, independents and undecideds in opposing the nomination of Justice Amy Coney Barrett so close to the presidential election.
Every major poll leading up to Election Day had predicted that Collins would lose to Democratic challenger Sara Gideon.
Republicans currently hold the Senate 50-48, so it is no longer possible for Democrats to take the majority outright. But if Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden takes office — as the mainstream media has widely projected — there is still a path for Democrats to control the upper chamber.
The final two Senate races will take place in Georgia run-offs to be held next month, as sitting Republican Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue square off against Democratic challengers Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff respectively. If Warnock and Ossoff both win, the Senate would be split 50-50.
If President Donald Trump is successful in his challenge to the presidential election results, Vice President Mike Pence would then be the tie-breaker.
If Biden is inaugurated and the Senate is split 50-50, a Vice President Kamala Harris would be the tie-breaker, meaning Democrats would then control the White House and both chambers of Congress.

And; Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) I’d bet has many skeletons in his closet.
First, what are Schumer’s ties to President Vladimir Putin and the Russian Federation? Hillary Clinton helped engineer the sale of a business to Russia, which owns 20 percent of the United States’ uranium reserves. But as the senior senator from New York, who served alongside then-Sen. Hillary Clinton, also from New York (sort of), this most likely did not happen without Schumer having a hand in the sale of uranium. Therefore, Freedom Watch will find out what Schumer’s role was in selling U.S. uranium to Russia, and how he likely benefited.
Second, as the Gateway Pundit reported Friday, Schumer hosted Putin in New York in 2003 at the opening of the first LUKOIL gas station in the U.S. Multiple photographs, including from the Associated Press, of Schumer and Putin are now surfacing.
But this goes deeper. Arranging for Russia’s massive oil empire, chiefly LUKOIL, to open up in New York state surely required a great deal of government maneuvering, meaning “grease,” by the senior senator from New York, Chuck Schumer. What deals were struck between Putin and Schumer to get Russia’s premiere oil company to do business in New York? How did the current minority leader of the U.S. Senate get LUKOIL through regulatory hurdles, environmental regulation, etc.? It is hard for a U.S. citizen to start a business. But Russia had no problem opening up gas stations in Schumer’s home state?
The public has a right to know all the facts. What favors did Schumer receive from Russia? Schumer implies that Russia is corrupt and engages in payoffs. Why is Schumer so convinced of that, after personally doing deals with Putin to bring LUKOIL to New York? New York state has an enormous ethnic Russian population, including at Brighton Beach. New York City even has its own Russian-language radio station. What are Schumer’s connections to the Kremlin, through the large Russian constituency in his home state?
It is ironic and more than hypocritical that Schumer and his leftist comrades, like Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Holder, the ACLU, George Soros and other socialist agitators and counter-revolutionaries, are so exercised over Trump’s contacts with Russia. In reality, these leftists feel more affinity to the former Soviet Union and now Russia than this country. Bernie even took his honeymoon in Moscow, the mecca of the left.
Third, Schumer helped cause the collapse of IndyMac Bank, which was a primary trigger of the 2008 collapse of the housing market and mortgage industry and resulting economic crisis. Schumer’s (unnecessarily) public letter claiming that IndyMac was insolvent helped spark a panic that created a self-fulfilling prophesy. We will find out what Schumer did to help create the worst economic collapse since President Carter.
Fourth, Schumer helped spark the inquisition of tea party groups. Schumer’s public letter to the Internal Revenue Service urged a redefinition of 501(c)(4) organizations to target conservative public-policy efforts. Lois Lerner and others implemented that detailed attack in persecuting tea party and other conservative organizations. We will demand all documents of Schumer’s involvement in attacking the First Amendment rights of U.S. citizens.
We will find out how Schumer and Schumer’s “associates” and campaign contributors benefited.
Freedom Watch and I will use the Freedom of Information Act and other investigative means to dig up all of the sordid leftist sleaze about Schumer and his friends. And our new fine attorney general, Jeff Sessions, can assist us in this regard, by first and foremost cleaning out the dishonest crowd of attorneys in the DOJ’s Federal Programs Branch, which has run interference for the Clinton and Obama administrations by unethically obstructing FOIA requesters in the past.
A new day has dawned in Washington, D.C., and We the People must legally take down the evil forces of the left, before they totally destroy the work of our Founding Fathers. It could end his long, sad career as Senator.
It’s been revealed that the connection between Chuck Schumer and a liberal media giant goes far deeper than anyone thought. From The New York Post:
Facebook employees, including some at the top of its corporate pyramid, have helped fill Schumer’s campaign coffers – and he’s returned the favor by carrying water for the social media giant in Congress, according to a recent report.
And Alison Schumer, the senator’s youngest of two daughters, works as a Facebook product marketing manager – which pays an average of $160,000, according to Glassdoor.com.
“It sure looks hinky,” political strategist Susan Del Percio told The Post. “This is an industry that’s been trying for years to fend off heavy government regulation by actively cultivating relationships with senators and House members.”

But Schumer always sides with money over his constituents and the country, and the $50,000 in donations he’s received from Facebook has gone a long way in buying his loyalty.
Schumer constantly overlooks Facebook’s privacy violations and their exposure of users’ personal information. When Zuckerberg was called to testify before Congress, Schumer defended the company.
Instead of calling on the government to crack down on Facebook by imposing stricter regulations, Schumer instead called the company, “a very positive force.”
Any criticism of Facebook is not only a threat to his Schumer’s cash flow. It’s also a threat to his daughter’s cushy new job.
And the Left says that it’s Republicans who get too cozy with bis business!

Being a democrat means going with the flow and accepting the radical left shift of the party no matter how unpalatable it is. With self-described socialist Bernie Sanders emerging as the democratic party’s frontrunner, suddenly the donkeys have to pretend that Marxism is nifty. Both Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have come out to “enthusiastically” embrace the communist policies of Sanders. On top of that abomination the democratic leaders feel like socialism will not only win them the White House but also retake control of the Senate.
At Tuesday’s democratic primary debate, Pete Buttigieg said that if Sanders were the party’s nominee, he’d lose to Trump and cause down-ballot chaos resulting in the House flipping back to the Republicans. After a closed door meeting the House basement, probably to discuss how to get rid of Bernie, Speaker Pelosi was asked if she would be comfortable with Sanders as the party’s nominee.
“Yes,” replied Pelosi.
When asked about Buttigieg’s comments with regard to Sanders costing the democrats the House, Pelosi went big and bold.
“I think whoever our nominee is, we will enthusiastically embrace and we will win the White House, the Senate and the House.” said Pelosi.
Chucky the Clown also feels that way because he shares a brain with Nutty Nancy. After being asked if he was concerned about Bernie Sanders’ praise of Fidel Castro hurting the democrats. chances in November, Schumer replied:
“Look, the bottom line is very simple. We have a lot of strong nominees. … I’m not supporting one over the other, but I think every one of them will beat President Trump,” Schumer said.
The collection of weirdos and freaks the democrats are putting up couldn’t beat Trump collectively and a communist sympathizer running on a “Revolution” to destroy America sure as hell ain’t doing it.
The problem for Nancy and Chuck is, they basically created the Sanders monster with the failed coup/impeachment attempt against President Trump. Joe Biden was the frontrunner by a lot until the democrats tried to remove Trump from office over non-existent quid pro quo with Ukraine. That shameless episode brought light to Biden’s dealings with Ukraine, getting a prosecutor fired that was investigating the energy company that his unqualified son Hunter worked for.
They failed to oust Trump, but they also brought way too much attention to Biden’s dirty dealing and Crazy’ Joe’s campaign has been in a free-fall ever since. Had the democrats not embarked on the coup attempt that they knew would fail, Biden would be winning primaries instead of finishing way behind Bernie Sanders.
Elections have consequences but so do attempts to overthrow the duly-elected President of the United States.
Now Pelosi and Schumer have to pretend that full-blow communism is a winning message for the 2020 election. It gets worse for them because they painted themselves into this corner. Should they attempt to sabotage Bernie’s campaign like they did in 2016, his small but rabid support base will literally burn the democratic party to the ground. They’re stuck with Sanders and there’s not a damn thing they can do about it.

The Council supported Charles E. Schumer in his initial successful Senate run as candidate for New York.
“In 1997, Schumer was one of 33 co-sponsors of H.R. 950, the Job Creation and Infrastructure Restoration Act. The bill had originally been sponsored by Congressman Matthew Martinez at the request of over 50 prominent labor leaders – all of whom were known supporters or members of the Communist Party USA. The Communist party even delegated senior member Evelina Alarcon to oversee the bill’s progress.
“In 1998 Schumer enjoyed electoral support from Communist Party breakaway group, Committees of Correspondence.“

As WND reported, Pelosi for years was not only on the House Progressive Caucus, but a member of its Executive Board.
The Progressive Caucus is the congressional arm of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). As DSA themselves stated:
“We invite you to support the campaign by adding your name to the list of signers of the Pledge for Economic Justice. In conjunction with the Campaign DSA is working with the Congressional Progressive Caucus, a network of more than 50 progressive members of the US House of Representatives … .”
WND notes:
“Until 1999, the website of the Progressive Caucus was hosted by the Democratic Socialists of America. Following an expose of the link between the two organizations in WND, the Progressive Caucus established its own website under the auspices of Congress.”
Earlier in her career, Pelosi had a close personal relationship with the radical socialist, pro-communist Hallinan family, from whom she received money for one of her campaigns.
According to AIM, Pelosi said of the couple: “If Vincent was the lion, Vivian was the lioness.” The House Speaker also called Vivian Hallinan a “mentor.”
Vivian Hallinan publicly supported communists in Central America during the ’80s. AIM notes:
“Indeed, Pelosi paid tribute to Vivian Hallinan by inserting into the Congressional Record an article saying that she had ‘opposed U.S. policy in Central America’ under President Reagan, had ‘befriended Daniel Ortega, Nicaragua’s [Communist] Sandinista leader,’ and had met with Cuban dictator Castro.”
Vincent Hallinan was a founding member of the San Francisco chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, widely known to be a Communist Party front. He participated in several communist groups and efforts. According to the New York Times, Hallinan once “sued the Roman Catholic Church for fraud, demanding that it prove the existence of heaven and hell.”
Schumer and Pelosi may attempt to position themselves as “moderates,” but they are as radical as they come. The appearance of “moderation” is nothing more than an act to disarm conservatives and gradually pull mainstream Democrat voters further to the left.
