A man seen pulling a gun on protesters in a viral video soon lost his job, but police posted another video showing that a protester pulled a gun on him as well.

The incident happened during a protest on Friday in Louisville, Kentucky.

A screenshot from the video went viral on social media as people condemned the man according to the misleading and incomplete information provided.

There was no evidence provided to confirm the claim that the man was a Trump supporter.

The man was eventually identified as Jim Geisler and he lost his job at American Air Filter Co., which released a statement explaining the decision.

“AAF Flanders supports the right to peacefully assemble as an expression of free speech,” said a spokesperson for the company.

“In our view, the actions of this individual show poor judgment and are inconsistent with the core values of our company,” they added. “As such, this individual is no longer with the company.”

Louisville Metro Police declined to file charges against the man despite the demands from many on social media, and posted an explanation on their Facebook page.

“Yesterday, during the protest activity in the Hurstbourne/Shelbyville Rd area, individuals were observed surrounding and inflicting damage on a vehicle at the traffic light on Hurstbourne Pkwy. During this event, a woman who was participating in the protest pointed a handgun at the occupant of the vehicle, placing him and others in extreme danger,” the post read.

“Fortunately, officers were able to move the crowd away and took her into custody a short time later without incident,” they added.

“His gun was specifically for me”

Protesters say that that is also an incomplete video about what happened.

“I wasn’t even thinking about my life, in that moment, I was thinking about everyone else that was around, which is why I drew my weapon back,” said Robin Ash, the woman who was arrested, to WHAS-TV.

“His gun was pointed, I mean, directly at me, it was like I walked up and his gun was specifically for me, was the way I felt at that moment,” she told the outlet.

David Mour, an attorney for Ash said he was going to sue the police department for defamation and slander over what he termed a malicious prosecution. She was charged with wanton endangerment, criminal mischief and for being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun, but she argues that a governor’s pardon in 2015 restored her civil rights.

“He was forced to protect himself”

In a GoFundMe campaign page set up for Geisler, a friend of the family gives his version of the events.

“On Friday, 9/18, Jim Geisler was on his way home from work, and was confronted by protesters on Hurstbourne Parkway in Louisville, KY. While at a stoplight, Jim’s car was approached by the menacing group. They gathered around his car while causing considerable damage to his car. A female protester pointed a gun at Jim,” the post explained.

“Jim’s personal safety, and the integrity of his vehicle/property were at stake,” it added. “He was forced to protect himself. He raised and pointed his firearm at the group in an attempt to ward Them off.”

The campaign has raised more than $8,000.

  1. Medal of Honor to Kyle Rittenhouse FOR his lifesaving skills, his bravery under duress in this active war zone! He is a War Hero defending Americans and his own life against armed and attacking savages who hate USA AND White People. He killed the enemy who we’re armed and outnumbered him. HE DESERVES A Medal of HONOR AS A WAR HERO fighting for USA against domestic terrorists!

  2. More often now we are seeing honest hard working people being arrested because they have had to defend themselves against these thugs, savages, and communists. We really are reaching a breaking point.

  3. It should have been reported as” Man uses great restraint when confronted with a deadly situation, that could have possibly cost him his life”. I can’t see where this wouldn’t have been a clear use of deadly force. If this goes on much more I believe they are eventually be getting killed in situations like this. And rightfully so.

  4. As the elections nears the domestic terrorist will step up their game to cause anarchy to disrupt the election, but it’s up to us the people to do our part and vote. I am all about taking the tug reactions out of our police requirements as they go to apprehend a suspect. Trying to force more violations on people for traffic violations needs to stop when a officer stops a car for speeding, making an illegal turn or just having a tail light out. What happen to the good samaritan officers who use to say excuse me but I just wanted you to know you had a tail light out and you should get it fixed to avoid a rear end accident and then go on their way. But the way they approach a car is even more scary then anyone can imagine. They get on their loud speaker and tell you to shut off your car and put both hands outside your drivers window as they approach the vehicle with their guns drawn then you hear them say reach down with your right hand and open your door. Then once you open the door they violently grab you and force you to the ground with a gun at your head and a knee in your back before you even know what’s going on. Then they apologize for treating you like a criminal as you are laying in the middle of a busy street with cars whizzing by you like you are not even in their view as they say you can get up and sit on the curb while they figure out what to charge you with since you were not the person they were looking for. Not just a simple apologize and let you go, they need to ruin your life by giving you a ticket for license plate light out or you didn’t stop long enough at a stop sign. So just because they have a badge should not give them the right to treat people with disrespect and give them the right to act like thugs. I have been treated like this and I can site where officers do this all the time to people. It’s not just black lives matter, it all lives matter, including the men and women in blue too, but the system does need to be reformed to serve and protect not steal and beat the american public because they made a mistake. The Government makes more mistakes then 99% of the public and there is no recourse or fines on them. If the shoe is on the other foot and they could be fined for their mistakes, you wouldn’t see the craziness they try to get us for. As for minor violations, they need to change from monetary fines to community service so it takes the greed out of the system and helps the nation as a whole. Also if a person does get a felony, once they have paid their dues for their wrongs the felony should be hid from public and all rights given back so that they can resume being a substantial person in our society.

    1. Exactly and, if our legal system were rational, rather than political, it would be legal. The real concern of the politicians is that when people defend themselves and their friends, family and property, it takes power away from “their” government (which is supposed to be “our: government in the first place).

  5. If that woman pulled her gun first, which seems to be the case she is lucky she is not dead.
As far as Geisler loosing his job, that is bullshit!! They should give him his job back with a BIG APOLOGY.
They fired him without knowing the facts, all they did was CAVE to the left and that is what they want.
I do believe this is going to happen more in the future. The people are getting tired of all the shit going on and they will start standing up for themselves and defend their lives and lives of friends and family.
These rioters will be taking their lives into their own hands.
If the democrat mayors and governors do not want to stop the riots the people will, as I said WE are getting sick and tired of the B…urning L…ooting M…urdering and will stand up for our safety.

  6. Probably did him a favor by firing him, I wouldn’t want my job back because I wouldn’t work for an asshole like him. Now he can file for unemployment and sit on his ass and wait for the mailman like all the protesters. Right? Although I’m sure someone will hear about it and offer him a better job. But I would sue their ass off for it, not for the job back, but for mental anguish and slander for making it public. It had nothing to do with the company or his job performance and it was none of anybody’s business but he felt like he had to kiss blm’s ass for whatever reason. I’d like to know what filters they make so I don’t buy one by mistake!

  7. So my question is, will he be reinstated to his job? Or will American Air Filter Co. the company he worked for, sit on its hands hoping the whole issue will go away or be swept under the carpet. I believe if this happens, then Mr. Geisler should take court action against the woman who pulled the gun on him, and against the company who fired him, for not allowing him back to his job. American Air Filter Co. owes Mr. Geisler an apology and monetary compensation for loss of time, emotional distress and defamation of character to name a few.

  8. Agreed. if someone pulls a gun and actually points it at me, i would be foreced to fire first or (in my assessment) be shot and possibly killed. There cannot be a realistic or legal reason for this women to pull a gun on another human being. By the way, does anyone know why this woimen brought a gun to a so-called peaceful protest. Think for a minute; this women with forsight, thought she might need a gun at a peaceful protest? Really, who’s gun was it and was she legally allowed to carry a gun on her person?

Treat here as you would any common criminal, who threatened another with deadly force. She is lucky she is alive and not in some cold dark morge drawer; all because she is more than stupid, she is a moron.

  9. One additional comment:
I notice plenty of protesters and was wondering; did they all have the day off from work or they do not have jobs and can attend all the rallys and protests as something to do with all that free time they have available to them. I have to work, so i see these idiots on TV.

They look and act like stupid people who want their 15 minutes of fame. Think about it, what a life to live. No contributions to the “common good”, no they want to be on TV. Parents of these “people” should be ashamed, you raised a stupid crimminal; What a job you did!

  10. It’s a travesity when a man, who is forced to defend himself from leftists terrorists threatening to murder him, loses his job. “Political Correctness” aka communist evil is disgusting
